Description
The 'R7 Log Center' logistics park is being built right next to the new R7 expressway (Bratislava - Dunajska Streda - Lubcenec) in an industrial area to the west of Dunajska Streda.
The region around Dunajska Streda is characterized by industrial and logistics settlements, including Schindler, LG, Wertheim, Bracchi etc., and in the area of logistics, among others, cargo partners and the central warehouses of Deichmann and KiK. The largest container terminal in Slovakia, which is operated by Metrans, is located there as well. This provides direct train connections to the northern ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven and, in particular, to Koper / Slovenia. There are also regular connections to Krems, Ceska Trebova and Kosice. The region has a highly qualified workforce and also allows high-employment settlements.
In the R7 Log Center, almost 100,000 sqm of state-of-the-art logistics and industrial warehouse space are being built in three construction phases. A first construction phase with approx. 53,000 sqm has already been pre-let and will be completed by 9/2021. In this construction phase, approx. 7,000 sqm are still available for rent. A further construction phase with approx. 29,000 sqm allows renting in smaller units with completion by the end of 2021. A third construction phase with almost 8,000 sqm can be rented or acquired as a 'built-to-own' after development.
